Il Circo di Urbano* is a bilingual puppet performance, in Italian and English, follows the story of Urbano Urbani, the once-great ringmaster of *Urbano’s Circus*, and his assistant, Vincenzo Pompei, who are now homeless, destitute, and living at a landfill owned by the Principessa di Lamborghini. Urbano and Vincenzo wait eagerly for the arrival of the Principessa di Lamborghini, a patron of the arts, owner of the landfill, and CEO of The Principessa Corporation, hoping she will invest in the circus and restore it to its former glory. With the help of the audience, Urbano and Vincenzo set up a special VIP area for her.
The puppets are made of various found materials recycled and non-recycled materials that give them a strange and distinctive appearance. The show features Ivan the Iron Clad Stomach, Clyde the Fearless Clown, and Marietta the Powerful Elephant.
Good Medicine is an interactive satire on the American medicine show through the centuries. The story is about three characters: Reverend Beauford T. Jones, Dr. Chester C. Braman, and Kurt Candleman, Spiritual Advisor and Master Guru. They all exist in different periods of history and are trying to sell their philosophies and products for health. The show exposes the similarities between the characters even though they are from different centuries showing that today we have the same snake-oil salesmen as in the 19th century, with absurd products which claim to heal and cure.
